Where Kaceli Dental Studio Began
When an opportunity to open a practice in Norwood came up, Dr. Kaceli spent time in town before deciding. She fell for the place and the people. She also liked that the office would be easy to reach for patients coming from the surrounding towns.
She opened that first practice in her twenties, on her own, as a woman in a field where most practice owners were men. The goal from day one was a complete, comprehensive office, where a patient could come in for a cleaning and also get a plan for the larger things they'd been putting off.
Some patients have been coming here since the doors first opened. The office has grown and added a sister location in Newton, but the Norwood office at 661 Washington St #211, is still where it all started.
Families make up a big part of the patient list. Along with cleanings and exams, the Norwood office offers dental sealants for kids and adults to protect the chewing surfaces of back teeth, and oral cancer screenings as part of routine care. Team members speak English, French, Farsi, Arabic, Albanian, Greek and Lithuanian, which helps many families feel at ease.
Meet Dr. Monika Kaceli, DMD
Dr. Kaceli studied biochemistry at Syracuse University and earned her DMD from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2017. She worked alongside experienced Boston-area dentists before opening her own office here.
Her approach starts with time. She wants to know what you'd like for your teeth, now and down the road. If you have several goals, she'll help you rank them and then build a long-term plan that takes them one step at a time. She is careful to keep as much healthy tooth as possible, because what nature gave you is worth saving.
