Repairing Teeth in Newton Centre
Restorative dentistry covers the treatments that bring a tooth back to working order after decay, a break or years of wear. It also covers the ways to fill a space once a tooth is gone. Some take one appointment; an implant takes several months.
Dr. Kaceli's starting point is always the tooth you already have. She would rather place a small filling now than a crown later, and a crown rather than an extraction when the tooth can be saved. If it can't, she will walk you through every way to replace it before you decide.
How Dr. Kaceli Builds a Restorative Plan
Plenty of patients arrive with more than one problem: a worn filling on one side, a missing tooth on the other, maybe a crown that never felt right. Dr. Kaceli begins by asking what matters most to you. That might be chewing comfortably again, fixing something people can see, or spreading the cost out over time.
She then puts together a long-term plan and works through it one goal at a time, so you know the order of treatment and the reason behind it.
- A full exam of your teeth, gums and bite, with digital X-rays when they are needed
- A check of existing fillings and crowns to see which ones are holding up
- A pretreatment estimate from our front desk before anything is scheduled
Insurance Questions and Payment Options
Crowns, bridges and implants cost more than a cleaning, and it helps to see the numbers early. Amy Orsini, our Newton front desk coordinator, answers insurance benefit questions and prepares pretreatment estimates so you can see what your plan may cover.
For the remaining balance, we offer monthly payments through Cherry and Sunbit. You can read how they work on our dental financing page.
When a Tooth Breaks Without Warning
Teeth don't always wait for a scheduled visit. If you crack a tooth or a filling falls out, call our Newton office. We offer same-day emergency visits, and having a break looked at early can keep a small repair from growing into a bigger one.
Why Choose Kaceli Dental Studio in Newton?
Dr. Kaceli calls preserving natural tooth structure the most important thing she does. You will notice it in small decisions, like how much tooth she removes for a filling or whether a crown is really needed yet.
Our Newton team includes Dr. Monique Mabry, DMD, and periodontist Dr. Milagros Serrano, DDS, whose work centers on dental implants, bone augmentation and soft tissue grafting. Across the team we speak English, French, Farsi, Arabic, Albanian, Greek and Lithuanian, and we see patients from Newton Centre, Wellesley, Needham, Brookline and Dedham.
